Since Konrad Reitz Ventilatoren GmbH was established in 1948, we have felt ourselves bound to represent the values and principles of a medium-sized German family enterprise.

Reliability, transparency and a spirit of partnership in relations with customers, employees and suppliers are the core components of our corporate philosophy. We are convinced that the promotion and further development of each individual employee are a significant prerequisite if a spirit of innovation, continuous improvement, sustainability in production and environmental protection is to be encouraged. → REITZ mission statement

In the REITZ strategy of global engineering, local production is a crucial argument for many customers active on a global level. With production plants in Germany, India and China and production cooperation arrangements in Brazil and the United States, we are represented on central markets and can provide superior REITZ quality at local conditions. Moreover, our close sales and service network covers all the relevant economic regions of the world.

The REITZ product portfolio encompasses much more than standard fans. The growing diversity of our subsidiaries and production plants means they can now provide specialised designs and solutions on every scale, including special fans with individual dimensions and specifications, fans for rail vehicles, stainless steel fans for the food industry or highly efficient modernisation solutions for existing plants.

HOW WE WANT TO SHAPE THE FUTURE:
• Continuous innovativeness and development arising from this are the prerequisites for the enhanced survivability of the company.
• The establishment of an enduring innovation culture and promotion of active innovation management are an important strategic goal. This approach represents a continuous improvement process in the narrower sense of the term.
• A core objective of knowledge management is the exploitation of available employee potential, its optimising and the motivation of these employees through active involvement.
• Basic conditions need to be created to allow employees to share knowledge if active knowledge management is to be realised. Employees should be enabled to find or receive information in an uncomplicated manner.
• Information overload is characteristic of today’s society. Anybody who can filter and process this overload effectively and derive conclusions and actions from it has achieved the enhanced level of survivability required.
• The following goals can, in general, be articulated:

PRINCIPLES OF LEADERSHIP
• We adhere to the rules and keep our agreements! Reitz managers bear responsibility for their area of activity and their employees. They are role models.
• Orders and instructions are given by direct superiors, and we adhere to organisational chain of command in this respect.
• In the delegation of tasks and responsibility, anybody assuming duties also assumes the responsibility for these. Certain management duties such as leadership and supervision cannot be delegated. Delegating responsibility back through the chain is not permitted.
• Decisions are reached where possible in a decentralised manner in the context of clearly agreed guidelines.
